Thanks for checking out another WakeHouse review. Today we are breaking down the brand new 2019 Parks wakeboard from Ronix Wake. Ronix recently invited the WakeHouse crew down to Lake Ronix in Florida to jump on all the new product. One of the clear winners for 2019 is the Ronix Parks wakeboard. This is an easy-riding, smooth-transition, soft-landing machine and we’re excited that Ronix brought this into the line.
What You'll Notice
Easy edge to edge transitions. Switching from heelside to toeside is effortless. The board sits high on the water and the edges don’t “hook up” aggressively like they can on other boards. This will make the ever dreaded "catching an edge" much more difficult. The downside to this is, you might have to cut farther out or pull a little harder to generate the same speed for crossing the wakes.
Less Fatigue & Softer Landings. We were able to ride longer on this board as it doesn’t seem to put the same amount of stress on your body. Ronix contributes this to the dimples on the base of the board, allowing the board to ride higher in the water. Not only is the riding easy on the body, the landings are soft too!
Smooth consistent wake to wake. As a contiunous board, the release of the wake is extremly predictable. The board carries good speed into the wake and makes for easy-soft wake to wake landings. It doesn’t carry the same aggressive vertical pop that some of the Parks wakeboards of the past are known for.
Who It's For
This board is for intermediate and advanced riders looking for a smooth, predictable ride. If you’re new to wakeboarding, or don’t have a good handle on edge control, check out our Beginner’s Wakeboard Blog. If you’re an aggressive rider looking for a board with aggressive edge hold or abrupt vertical pop, checkout the Ronix One or Ronix RXT. However, if you tend to get tired or sore quickly while wakeboarding or you’re just looking for any overall smooth, consistent, soft-landing wakeboard, the 2019 Ronix Parks might be perfect for you.
