Every life jacket we stock for children is U.S. Coast Guard Approved. A majority of the kids vests that we stock are made with soft neoprene that is more comfortable on your little one's skin than a cheaper nylon life jacket. Sizing is done by weight for all kids vests, starting at Infant (0-30lbs), followed by Child (30-50lbs), with the largest being Youth (50-90lbs). Some companies split the youth category into youth small and youth large, but that varies by brand.
